TexturesInspired by 1920s expressionist cinema and pop surrealism, these ink portraits are digitally composited over close-up texture photography. Each subject is paired with a photographic texture representing both an architectural element from their hometown as well as a hidden inner self. (Mix Media: Ink, Photography, Digital) The "Textures" series was displayed at various art shows in New Orleans (including the EAT New Orleans Spring Showcase and the RAW Artist Exhibition) and sold at Pirates Alley and the Frenchmen Art Market from 2015-2018.
