MasksMasks... that thin extra skein we wear, a shield between danger and safety, the self and the world, the truth and the lie. They're more than just the soft cloth covering our mouths and noses, protecting us from COVID. They present a persona. Masks save us and cloak us. Masks both prevent and protect. Masks, as we've learned in this year of pandemic, are everywhere. (Ink) This series was produced for the Aesthetics of Research Spring 2021 exhibit and MASKS Lit Magazine (Columbia College Chicago Library).
