Future Tense: Imagined Worlds From the MarginsVisions of the future—utopian or dystopian, wonderful or horrific—through the lens of traditionally marginalized communities: POC, women, LGBTQ, disability, etc. An exploration of the future in reaction to the imperfect present, and what those visions say about our best hopes and worst fears. (Digital) Commissioned for a character from a sci-fi film franchise, these costume concepts were later displayed from March-May 2020 as part of the "Future Tense: Imagined Worlds from the Margins" exhibit at Columbia College Chicago's Aesthetics of Research.
